Ben “bencb” Rolle noted that you shouldn’t simply hope for luck to be on your side this time. You need to take control of the situation and follow a plan:

1️⃣ Take a day off. Practice, go for a walk, read a book, or meet with friends.

2️⃣ Analyze your game. Study your recent sessions, find mistakes and new opportunities for exploitation (set aside 1-2 days for this).

3️⃣ Analyze the session with coaches and/or friends. Find areas for improvement.

4️⃣ Lower the limit. Don’t be shy about playing at lower limits. Almost every pro has been there.

5️⃣ Set specific goals. Write them down before each session and keep them nearby as a reminder. Try to visualize them.

6️⃣ My favorite reminder: “Expect the best, but be prepared for the worst.”

After this, play a few sessions; if the results don’t improve, repeat all the steps again.
